If you used the online form you should almost immediately recieve a copy of your order (Check your spam/junk folder). Our goal is to get back to you within 48 hours acknowledging your order. If order requires a quick turnaround (less than two weeks), feel free to call us immediately to discuss your order. Based on your order, we will create a pdf proof for your review. Once the final proof is approved, and all items are in hand, production is started. Payment is made just prior to production.
We desire at least 2 weeks, excluding shipping if possible. If the completion of the order is dependant upon ordering items or waiting for items from a customer, more time may be required. If a quick turnaround is required, feel free to contact us directly prior to submitting to see if we can meet your date.
No. In most cases, we can provide everything. However, we do encourage customers to provide badges, rank, mini/full medals, etc. to help reduce the cost, if price sensitive. We do carry all military service ribbons and attachments. For National Guard members desiring state awards/decorations, we require the customer to provide them including any unique devices/attachments.
We use primarily two types of wood, alder and cherry. Alder has a clearer, less noticiable grain, but is a softer wood (like pine). Cherry has more noticiable grain and is harder (like oak). Darker woods such as walnut are not typically used because the laser engraved areas do not contrast from the plaque color.
The plaque will be sized based on the amount of information placed. Our stock sizes start at 12x15 inches, increasing in one inch increments, to 12x18 inches. Although rarely requested, we can obtain custom plaque sizes to meet a unique requests, however, it may add several weeks in completion time. The framed pieces provide more flexibility in both width and height.
We do offer framed pieces that look like mini shadow boxes. We offer a variety of suede/fabric backgrounds and well as a wide selection of moulding, since we own a custom picture framing business. If this style is selected, we will contact you for the choices for moulding style, mat color, etc.
We primarily use FedEx ground, however we can ship via any carrier, if you have a preference.
Based on our So Cal location, FedEx ground items shipped on a Monday are usually received on the East coast by the following Friday.
Our starting size, 12x15 inch alder plaque, starts at $159.99. This includes the service medallion and wreath, one graphic element on the left and right of the wreath. One badge graphic element, up to 18 ribbons/devices, a military service history section, and an insciption at the bottom. Ribbons/devices above 18 cost $2 ea.
Each additional inch of plaque height adds $10. The maximum size plaque is a 12x18, unless a custom size is requested.
Just prior to making the plaque an invoice will be sent with a payment link, providing a method of payment.
Since these are basically commissioned pieces of art, refunds are not availble. However for plaques that have errors, we do offer a significant discount (50%) to have the plaque redone.
